Information
Will there be a ConsTest 2026?
ConsTest 2026 will take place on Saturday 11th April 2026, at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
How can Bands enter ConsTest 2026?
Bands can enter ConsTest 2026 on 19th November 2025. The entry form will be available below, from the 17th November. There is a 3 band per section limit, as not to overwhelm the contest, so entries will run at a first come first serve basis. Once a section is full, bands will be placed on a first-come first-serve reserve list - regardless of their section. We have 3 additional spaces available for bands of any section - these will be given immediately after a section is full - so please enter as soon as you can! The Rules and Regulations form is below; the entry form will be available just underneath on 17th November. Both of these documents must be signed and emailed to constestopen@gmail.com, with clear intention of paying the entry fee.
How much is the entry fee?
This year, we have crunched the numbers, and tried to appropriately balance the entry fee with the percentage chance of placement for our lower bands. We have therefore taken the opportunity to introduce a new system for our entry fees - a dynamic price range - whilst still keeping our entry fee under £200, and raising our individual section prizes.
Championship/1st Section Entry Price - £190.
2nd/3rd Section Entry Price - £170.
4th Section Entry Price - £150.
